research ex
I feel as though i would never be a reseacher, the reason for this is because looking up other people ideals and trying to agree with them is difficult. Another thing is the reading all these different tyhpes of schorlar journals, i hate reading alot and by reading all of my resources have my mind raceing. I feel as though researching should just be on what you know and what you think. Everything ivew read and been i already knew about my topic, on the other hand i feel as if some people that wrote some of my sources have no clue on what there really talking about. Overall i think that ive learned alot in this class about research but just really dont think im made to do research.
example on parapharising
Students seem to over dose on direct quotes in there research paper. This is a problem because they tend to but to many qoutes inthere research paper, there should be a limited qoutes in your research paper. An average number would be like 10% in your complete draft. So i will advice for people/ student should be careful and keep a eye out on how many quotes they use. (lester)

Panel#2
I went to a panel that talked about the writing center. There are open monday through friday. they are here to help student with things like grammer, sentences and prof your work. Ive been here a couple times there a couple times before. One of the tutor stressed about going there and being prepared to learn your difficulties with writeing. So i advice if you ever need help with your writeing or unsure if your papers are correct go there and get help, thats what we are paying for with our tuition.
Panel # 1
In my first panel I went to it was basically about how poetry can help a person write in all different kinds of ways. The first person presented a poem that was about her dad passing away. As she was reading it I heard her expressed her feelings. When she was done she was talking about how much easier it was to share her story in poem format because she couldn’t never just come out and plainly talks about her dad passing away, she also said how she felt as she became a better writer after she started writing poetry. I could relate to her on this topic for the simple fact that it would be hard to talk about such a thing but easier to let your thoughts go on paper. That’s why I think writing is important concept in life, especially when you want to let people know and understand what your feelings toward something. I really enjoyed hearing her speak.
Then there was a second speaker who kind of went the same route but she switched it up a little bit. She was more into about the narrative voice and telling fictional poems. I felt as though her poems was kind of dull because for the simple fact it seemed that she didn’t have to much character in her poems. At the same time I did get some type of output from her, when she was saying how to try to find the narrative voice. I never thought about that and it could be a lot difficult when you cannot understand how a person wants you to read there poetry. At the end of this panel I realize how important it is to try to give your reader a image and a good understanding on the topic your writing about.

Intro summary to chapter one
In this first chapter it talks about how things starts off small but then expends and be a epidemic. It broading people minds and ways to think out the box. For example when Gladwell talked about how hiv and other things in that source transform from lower classes and spreads throughout the other classes and the reason for this is drugs. People would go get these drugs from the lower class and take them back to there class and spread to others. Basiclly this chapeter gives you a out look on how things start off as a small concept to a big concept. So to wrap up this conclusion to this chapter a epidemic is a on going thing and will never just die down.
Diversity
Being black I always seeing as being the odd ball against all others but I never felt as though my race was better or worse than any other race, I just felt as though we had got to get what we can and prove to others that we can achieve the same thing. Diversity is a very touchy topic for others because some people are closed minded. Diversity is a big part of our society for example there are so many different religons, race and class structure that make are society what it is today. If we didnt have this we as humans wouldnt have nothing to clash about. i feel as though we need this, but feel as that we need to change in a way because its difficult for some people. Such as the sterotyping and the ritucuel for your race or class.

assignment #3
Im not really sure on what topic that i would like to write about. I feel as though its alot of topics out there but i want to write something that i care alot about. At the same time i want something that i could share with ohers and give them some knowledge that they never knew. Would also like some type of feed back on things. What ever i write about it would bring a different spend on how others think about it. This project would be a out look on what our society is about. There are alot of gray areas that are not spoken about. A reson could be for the sake that some reseachers do not want to get in deep with there studies. such as for instance gangs. Most reseachrs talk about the out layer in a gang but there is more to gangs than just violents acts. there is a type of fear that some people have that they cant face and i feel as though i can talk about this because ive been around it.If i did this some research i would go around to some people i know that are in some gangs and have them tell me about there thought of a gang. Maybe even have them tell me what happens in a gang. then look up some gang violent crime rates.
